Education & Outreach
Beyond performance, Syndee is the founder of R.O.A.R. School, where she develops performance workshops that empower aspiring artists to become Resourceful, Optimistic, Authentic, and Reliable, positively impacting artists and performers around the world through her innovative approach to artistry and self-development.
R.O.A.R. School was born from a simple observation and a personal ache: there weren't enough artists who had made it showing young artists of color how to get there.
Syndee Winters started where most people start today — YouTube. Sharing tips, tools, and honest guidance for emerging performers, she built a community of nearly 3,000 subscribers who were hungry for exactly what she was offering: access. Mentorship. Someone a few steps ahead willing to turn around and reach back.
What became R.O.A.R. School draws from an unexpected source. Syndee's father is a professional soccer coach and trainer. Her first job — at fifteen — was producing his soccer camps from the ground up. Registration. Logistics. Programming. Merchandise. She was running operations before she had a driver's license. What she learned in those camps was that the principles of athletic excellence — discipline, adaptability, mindset, teamwork — translate directly to the stage.
R.O.A.R. School is built on that exact foundation.
Through workshops, intensives, and one-on-one coaching, Syndee equips aspiring artists between the ages of eleven and twenty-four with the tools to become Resourceful, Optimistic, Authentic, and Reliable — the four qualities she believes separate artists who sustain careers from those who don't. Students learn not just how to perform but how to think like professionals: how to adapt to any room, any director, any circumstance. How to build a career with intention. How to trust themselves on and off the stage.
R.O.A.R. School has reached young artists worldwide. But its mission has never changed: make the path visible for the ones who couldn't see it before.
